Alan W. Urech, President
Alan Urech is a Senior Executive with 30 years experience in successfully developing and commercializing companies. He develops businesses by using strong strategic, tactical and operational leadership skills to help them understand and implement appropriate business aspects of a company's growth. These organizations include HBO & Company where he was part of a team that saw the organization's expansion from initial start-up to about $350 million dollars in revenue within 12 years. During this period, he was instrumental in developing very successful healthcare product lines which significantly grew the Company's overall profitability. HBOC was sold in 1998 for US$13.8 billion to McKesson Corporation.

Currently he is the Managing Partner and Principal of Stoney River Capital Partners LLC, an Angel-backed consultancy that has cultivated over 600 capital sources for investing in high-growth companies. SRCP provides senior level management guidance on investment funding strategies, corporate growth planning and plan implementation, business directions and exit strategies. This guidance transforms successfully growing entrepreneurial companies into growth businesses that attract investment capital. His practice focus is to "coach" strong young entrepreneurial seed, start-up and expanding companies to successfully communicate their business proposition to the investment community.

Alan has been a member of TAG - Technology Association of Georgia- since 1989 and is currently a member of Healthcare Special Interest Group Board. He is also a member of:

• Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce
• Kettering Executive Network (Atlanta)
• Georgia Entrepreneur Society (GES)

He is a former member of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) and the Association for Corporate Growth.

Alan holds a Master of Arts Degree with a focus in Healthcare Administration from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor of Science Degree from Northern Illinois University. He is a registered MT (ASCP) and Certified Six Sigma - Green Belt.

He is a founding member of St. Vincent de Paul Society, serving as Chairman, President and CEO from 1996 to 2002, and he serves on its Board of Directors.

Michael R. Robertson
Michael Robertson is an accomplished leader in Human Resources, known for building high performing organizations and transforming cultures to achieve success for employees and customers alike. 

During his 16-year tenure at EMS Technologies, Inc., Michael provided strategic oversight and direction as that company grew from 400 to 2,000 employees.  His scope of contributions included employee training and high potential development; corporate communications and public relations; facilities and maintenance operations; safety and environmental health; administration; and security.  Michael was instrumental in shaping the company’s culture and under his direction, EMS was named a “Great Place To Work” and the “Employer of Choice.”

Prior to joining EMS, Michael worked for both large and small high-tech corporations in human resources management.  He is skilled in several areas that are highly relevant to today’s business environment:

Managing Human Capital and Change
Michael offers extensive experience in growing your business, reorganizing your business or making the move from domestic to global.  In a $60M manufacturing business he introduced “just in time staffing,” establishing delivery time as a business advantage.  He has performed due diligence and HR integration for nine acquisitions and five divestitures.  He successfully integrated more than 500 employees into the new company across all aspects of HR including benefits, HR policies and records, as well as, compensation practices including international integration.

Driving Employee Engagement
Michael has developed employee satisfaction strategies that significantly enhanced retention of engineering talent and led to recognition for “Best 100 Companies in Atlanta.”  His CEO Report Card program at EMS provided strategic feedback for the CEO in areas that assisted in the development of a roadmap for improving company performance. Michael has been successful in avoiding any employment litigation for over 10 years.

Performance-Based Compensation Strategies
Having developed and implemented programs to enhance performance and reward top contributors, Michael can improve an organization’s sales compensation, executive compensation, and incentive results. He recently orchestrated a program to change a loyalty-based culture into one sharply focused on performance, shifting the reward structure for the entire organization.
Michael has been a founding member of three organizations aimed at bringing senior-level Human Resources professionals together to explore and adopt best practices.  Additionally, he was a founding member of the Human Resources Society for the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) and has spoken to numerous groups on topics related to human resources and personal development.

Active in his community, Michael has helped build bridges between businesses and education in his support of continuing education.  He has served as chairman of the Board of the GIFT (Georgia Industrial Fellowship for Teachers) Program at Georgia Institute of Technology, which offers summer fellowships to Georgia teachers.  He also is a member of the Peachtree Executive Advisory Board for FIRST, which aspires to make science, math, engineering, and technology as cool for kids as sports are today.

A graduate of Georgia State University, Michael has enjoyed delivering strategic human resources solutions in dynamic growth environments.  He and his wife Vicki live in Dunwoody and have raised two lovely daughters who also are contributing members of the Atlanta community.
